The immense range of influences displayed in the music here goes from the early Baroque to the very latest in electrical music production. I splurged and bought this set and I'm very happy that I did so. I write and do artwork on the computer and there's nothing better than putting on one of these CD's to transport me to a magical place that allows me to be as creative as the music is. These early recordings are magnificent, combining modern sounds and/or rock beats with medievel, baroque, classical, and romantic period forms and tonalities. The result is a refreshing and exciting musical experience. You deserve to have these historic recordings as a part of your cd library. |
